What is Clinical Hypnosis?

Clinical hypnosis, also known as hypnotherapy, is a mental health therapy that uses special techniques to help people change their behaviour and improve their quality of life. It is based on the idea that the mind can be influenced by suggestion. The person being hypnotized, while still in control, enters a state of deep relaxation, sometimes called an altered state of consciousness or trance state. The hypnotherapist then guides them through a series of suggestions that can help them overcome a problem or achieve their goals.

How Can Clinical Hypnosis Help?

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed and you're looking for a way to regain control of your emotions and feelings, clinical hypnosis can help. By using guided imagery and relaxation techniques, hypnotherapists help you achieve a state of deep relaxation and focus your attention on specific goals or outcomes. It also helps you regain control of your emotions and feelings so that you can improve your overall quality of life.

How Does It Work?

The goal of clinical hypnosis is to help you change how you feel about your experiences by changing how you think about them. The therapist will guide you through a process that involves identifying what thoughts or emotions are causing the problem and replacing them with more positive ones. This can help you see situations in a new light and reduce stress or anxiety caused by those experiences.
