Hello!

As a therapist, I see our work together as a collaborative and empowering process—one rooted in curiosity, compassion, and authenticity. I believe that people are their own healers, and my role is to walk alongside you as a guide and witness, helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and innate capacity to heal. Together, we’ll explore your emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and patterns with openness, creating new understandings and building tools for coping, growth, and meaningful change. My approach is holistic and grounded in the present moment, supporting you in developing a deeper relationship with yourself and your experiences. Ultimately, therapy is an act of co-creation—a space where we uncover what matters most to you and work toward living in alignment with your values, dreams, and sense of purpose.

Mental Health Concerns

I work with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. Many of my clients come to therapy during times of transition, feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about the next step. I also support those struggling with self-esteem, body image, and emotional regulation, as well as challenges like chronic stress, anger, and loneliness. Whether you're seeking relief, deeper understanding, or a greater sense of purpose, I hold space for both the pain and the possibility—offering support for self-development, healing, and meaningful growth.

Mental Health Approaches

I take an integrative and client-centered approach to therapy, blending evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each person’s unique story and inner wisdom. My work is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing EMDR), and Somatic Experiencing, and is informed by Polyvagal Theory. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga psychology, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques to support healing and growth. More About Laura

When I’m not in the therapy space, you’ll often find me lost in a good book, listening to music, practicing yoga, or spending time in nature with my husband and our dog, Phryne. I have a background in alternative modalities including certification as a forest bathing guide and extensive training as a yoga teacher. I'm a curious and lifelong learner, continually inspired to grow, explore, and deepen my understanding of what it means to live with presence, purpose, and meaningful connection.
