Hello!

My name is Amy, and I’m so glad you’re here. Choosing to begin therapy can feel overwhelming, but it’s also a brave step toward caring for yourself. I believe the heart of meaningful therapy is a genuine relationship where you feel seen, supported, and safe. Whether you’re looking for a brief check-in or hoping to make bigger changes, I’ll walk alongside you at the pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll use collaborative and evidence-based practices to clarify your goals, work through what’s holding you back, and create a path toward the life you want.

I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Mental Health Concerns

My goal is to create a safe and easygoing se at so you can show up as your authentic self, and I can meet you where you are at, and we can slow things down together.

I have worked with youth for ten years in the school system. I have extensive experience in working with the complexities of pre-teen, teenage, and young adult life. I support youth aged 12 and up with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, academic stress, peer relationships, and other mental health struggles. When working with youth, my aim is to help them feel safe expressing themselves and to experience success to develop resilience and foster growth.

I also enjoy working with parents, supporting them as they navigate their own emotions, strengthen the parent–child relationship, and develop strategies to guide their children effectively. I work with adults as well, helping them navigate anxiety and stress, challenging relationships, and childhood wounds.

Mental Health Approaches

With over a decade of experience supporting youth and adults, I offer a warm, strengths-based approach that helps you feel understood and empowered.

My work is grounded in person-centred principles and integrates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and emotion-focused techniques. I believe in meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right—sometimes that means slowing down to make space for healing. Together, we’ll explore what feels most helpful for you and tailor our sessions to fit your unique goals, pace, and personality—because therapy works best when it feels like your space to grow and heal.

More About Amy

Like everyone else, I am on this wild journey called life. I am a mother to a spirited toddler and a lively dog, Izzy, who keep me laughing and on my toes. My path has been full of learning, growth, and unexpected twists—both personally and professionally.

I spent 10 years supporting youth as a junior high and high school teacher in math, science, and physical education. While I majored in Physics in my Bachelor of Education, my experiences working with students and collaborating with parents inspired me to make a meaningful shift toward therapy. Watching young people navigate challenges, build confidence, and grow into their authentic selves sparked my passion for supporting both youth and adults in mental health and personal development.

Outside of my professional work, I value curiosity, connection, and playfulness. I love baking, exploring nature, reading, and finding creative ways to balance the chaos and joy of everyday life. I bring this same sense of empathy, curiosity, and warmth into my practice, creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported on their own journeys.
