Sharon specializes in treating persons who are overwhelmed and feeling stuck. She helps people find their power to move forward mentally, emotionally, physically, and interpersonally. As a retired RCMP sergeant (29 years), Sharon is uniquely qualified to offer services to first responders, Veterans, armed forces, and health professionals. As a RCMP peer and family support volunteer, she developed her love of helping  people in need. As a result of this volunteer experience, she was awarded a Governor General Order of Merit Medal.  Sharon is a certified EMDR therapist and an EMDR consultant, skilled in EMDR, clinical hypnosis, CBT, Mindfulness, Brainspotting, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and ​somatic therapies, including Gendlin Focusing and Hakomi.

Brittany Meredith is a Certified EMDR therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. She is passionate about guiding individuals to healing, using their inherent strengths, and developing new skills. Some areas of specialty for Brittany are trauma, body-focused repetitive behaviours, pain, bipolar disorders, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.

In treating individuals, Brittany primarily uses EMDR, hypnotherapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and CBT. With couples, Brittany primarily uses Gottman methods, and EMDR.

Linda has worked in the mental health field since 2010, previously working in the school system and forensic assessment. She combines Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy with mind-body interventions like Focusing, EMDR, and clinical hypnosis. With over 25 years of experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist, Linda continues to work as a helping professional with individuals with diverse circumstances, cultures, and histories.

Mat is passionate about helping people experience change and improved performance by building into individual strengths and personality tendencies. As an athlete and former coach, Mat is uniquely qualified as a sport and performance psychologist. Mat’s goal is to help you become so aware of who you are that, as you progress through your sport, you can become truly confident in your athletic abilities. As a therapist, Mat’s approach combines counselling with sport and performance psychology and uses strengths-based approaches, such as solution focused therapy (SFT), CBT, and mindfulness. He promotes a relaxed environment that utilizes authentic curiosity, empathy, and light hearted humour as tools within a therapeutic conversation. 

Peter Gregg

Peter’s person-centered approach influences the therapy he offers to clients, allowing the opportunity for emotional processing and self-exploration and growth in a non-judgmental atmosphere.  Peter’s practice includes therapy for adults of all ages and genders, adolescents, individuals, couples and families.  His clinical expertise is in treating clients who are living with a variety of issues such as depression, self-harm, grief and loss, abuse and trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, and interpersonal struggles, relationship, marriage and family difficulties, LGBTQ+ and sexuality, addictions and substance abuse, and personality and mood disorders (i.e. bi-polar disorder), and anxiety.  Peter also has a special interest in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Peter employs an open-minded, integrative and collaborative approach to psychotherapy that is solution focused, and tailored to each individual.  He uses various counselling methods, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), the “empty chair technique”, reality testing, mindfulness, coping and relaxation techniques, goal setting and tracking, journaling and narrative therapy, exposure and response prevention, psycho-education, harm reduction and safety planning.  

Peter’s internship training took place at Alberta Hospital Edmonton.  He is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.  He has numerous pastimes; among them are playing the piano and gardening.  He looks forward to getting to know you, and working with you to reach your greatest potential!

Paulette has supported people through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, family struggles, trauma, and relationship issues.  She has extensive experience in supporting people with workplace stress and return to work issues.

Paulette uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Chantal has over 20 years of experience, working directly with children, adults and families from various cultures, experiencing addiction, depression, anxiety and grief. Within her counselling, Chantal uses a person centered approach to help individuals to find the solutions that work for them depending on their situation. Chantal uses her training in various modalities such as EMDR, Solution Focused, Person Centered, and Mindfulness. She works collaboratively to determine the best approach that suites the person’s needs.

Clare's gentle and impactful approach is grounded in evidence based practices, including CBT, EMDR, and solution focused therapy SFT. Clare works with children, adolescents, families, couples, partners, and groups. Clare's experience counselling at the Pride Center of Edmonton provided her with opportunities to support clients identifying as non-cis gender or non-heterosexual. She has a great deal of experience supporting trans youth and adults (and their families) through the process of gender exploration and transition in Alberta. Clare is happy to offer an initial 15 minute phone consultation to provide an opportunity for potential clients to get a sense of her counselling style and approach.

Nadja uses an integrative approach that includes cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), attachment-based therapy and EMDR. When working with children, Nadja utilizes play therapy techniques in her practice to provide the children with an outlet to express their emotions in a gentle non-threatening manner (formal training obtained through Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute). Nadja is currently working toward her certification in play therapy.

Monica Frick

Monica is a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student completing her internship under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. After working in the mental health field for almost a decade, Monica is excited to embark on a new journey of collaboration with clients to embrace their strengths and establish a safe space for vulnerability and growth within the context of counselling. Her previous work with children and families has fostered an understanding of the complex impact that interpersonal relationships have on the development and well-being of the self. From this perspective, Monica recognizes that a therapeutic relationship can be significant for growth and change if it is established on trust, respect and collaboration.

Monica has experience working with adults, children, youth and families, with most of her work being focused on trauma and behavioural interventions. She primarily works from a strength-based, solution focused perspective to support her clients in identifying avenues for positive change.

Uzma Williams 

MA Counseling Psychology Student 

Uzma is currently completing her internship and brings a lot of passion and care into counselling. She has a wide array of experience spanning family-centred care, well-being of parents, family members who have disabilities, and complexity. Her work is eclectic, meaning it is based on a mixture of cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, trauma-based, and strength-based therapies. Through Uzma’s work as a sessional instructor at two universities in Edmonton, she has a strong knowledge base of mental health including addictions, mood, trauma, and psychosis disorders. Uzma is kind, non-judgemental, and enjoys walking alongside with her clients in their journey. Uzma has completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences with a focus on child development from McMaster University, and a Master of Science in Family Practice and Ecology from the University of Alberta.  

Denise Stacey

Denise is a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. A former teacher, she has also worked as a behavior specialist and is excited to begin this new venture in the field of counselling. Denise has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of academic and mental health settings. Her approach to therapy is one of non-judgmental and insightful collaboration. This has been developed through her work with children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with a variety of social, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, such as ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, developmental delays and/or learning disabilities.  She has a particular interest in working with adoptive and foster families as well as children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with anxiety. 

Denise is open to working with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families from a variety of backgrounds.

Robyn Coon

Robyn is a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. As a former Teacher and Mental Health Capacity Builder, she has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in diverse environments. Robyn understands that every person is unique and has different needs, she works to understand client’s natural strengths and support them in developing new skills and resources to support them in a way that is complementary and fitting to their lifestyle. Robyn primarily works through CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy (SFT). She has a particular interest in working with trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Robyn is open to working with individuals, adolescents and adults from a variety of backgrounds.
