Sharon specializes in treating persons who are overwhelmed and feeling stuck. She helps people find their power to move forward mentally, emotionally, physically, and interpersonally.

As a retired RCMP sergeant (29 years), she is uniquely qualified to offer services to first responders, Veterans, armed forces, and health professionals. As a RCMP peer and family support volunteer, she developed her love of helping  people in need. As a result of this volunteer experience, she was awarded a Governor General Order of Merit Medal.  

Sharon is a certified EMDR therapist and an EMDR consultant. ​She is skilled in EMDR, clinical hypnosis, CBT, Mindfulness, Brainspotting, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and ​somatic therapies, including Gendlin Focusing and Hakomi.  She is a volunteer board member, consultant, and trainer with the Canadian Federation of Clinical Hypnosis-Alberta Society. Sharon strives to make competent and affordable services available by mentoring  master psychology students. She welcomes clients of all ages and cultures. Brittany Meredith

Brittany Meredith, R Psych. is a Certified EMDR therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. She is passionate about guiding individuals to healing, using their inherent strengths, and developing new skills. Some areas of specialty for Brittany are trauma, body-focused repetitive behaviours, pain, bipolar disorders, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.

In treating individuals, Brittany primarily uses EMDR, hypnotherapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and CBT. With couples, Brittany primarily uses Gottman methods, and EMDR. Since 2010 Brittany has worked with a variety of populations, including adults, children, youth, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Linda is a strength-based psychologist who provides individual counselling for adults and youth. Her collaborative approach helps individuals take steps towards the goals they hope to achieve.

Linda has worked in the mental health field since 2010, previously working in the school system and forensic assessment. She combines Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy with mind-body interventions (Focusing, EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Hypnotherapy).

With over 25 years of experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist, Linda continues to work as a helping professional with individuals with diverse circumstances, cultures, and histories.

Mat is passionate about helping people experience change and improved performance by building into individual strengths and personality tendencies. He is committed to ensuring that clients develop a self awareness that allows for growth outside of the therapy environment.

As an athlete and former coach, Mat is uniquely qualified as a sport and performance psychologist. He is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential through individually tailored sessions that support the whole person behind the athlete. Mat’s goal is to help you become so aware of who you are that, as you progress through your sport, you can become truly confident in your athletic abilities.

As a therapist, Mat’s approach combines counselling with sport and performance psychology and uses strengths-based approaches, such as solution focused therapy (SFT), CBT, and mindfulness. Mat loves assisting individuals in the crucial stages of transition and development that come with career changes, relationships, and identity formation. He can also assist those with anxiety, depression, and trauma as they seek to grow and heal. He promotes a relaxed environment that utilizes authentic curiosity, empathy, and light hearted humour as tools within a therapeutic conversation. Peter Gregg, BA, MACP

Peter’s person-centered approach influences the therapy he offers to clients, allowing the opportunity for emotional processing and self-exploration and growth in a non-judgmental atmosphere.  Peter’s practice includes therapy for adults of all ages and genders, adolescents, individuals, couples and families.  His clinical expertise is in treating clients who are living with a variety of issues such as depression, self-harm, grief and loss, abuse and trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, and interpersonal struggles, relationship, marriage and family difficulties, LGBTQ+ and sexuality, addictions and substance abuse, and personality and mood disorders (i.e. bi-polar disorder), and anxiety.  Peter also has a special interest in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Peter employs an open-minded, integrative and collaborative approach to psychotherapy that is solution focused, and tailored to each individual.  He uses various counselling methods, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), the “empty chair technique”, reality testing, mindfulness, coping and relaxation techniques, goal setting and tracking, journaling and narrative therapy, exposure and response prevention, psycho-education, harm reduction and safety planning.  

Peter’s internship training took place at Alberta Hospital Edmonton.  He is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.  He has numerous pastimes; among them are playing the piano and gardening.  He looks forward to getting to know you, and working with you to reach your greatest potential!


Clare Acheson

Clare is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a diverse range of counselling experience. Her gentle and impactful approach is grounded in evidence based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and solution focused therapy (SFT). Clare works with children, adolescents, families, couples, partners, and groups. She has supported clients in successfully addressing: trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, substance use, self-harm, grief, phobias, hoarding, discrimination, gender transitioning, communication and relationship concerns.

Clare has extensive training and experience counselling clients coping with trauma, including counselling on the Chrysalis Anti-human Trafficking Network Crisis Line. Clare's experience counselling at the Pride Center of Edmonton provided her with opportunities to support clients identifying as non-cis gender or non-heterosexual. She has a great deal of experience supporting trans youth and adults (and their families) through the process of gender exploration and transition in Alberta.

Clare offers 1 hour sessions for $150, and 1.5 hour sessions for $200. She is also happy to offer an initial 15 minute phone consultation to provide an opportunity for potential clients to get a sense of her counselling style and approach. Paulette Rodziewicz

Paulette has supported people through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, managing stress, and overcome family struggles, work and personal relationship issues,  family violence, sexual violence, bullying, trauma, self -esteem, anger management and addictions.  

Paulette previously held front line and senior manager positions in the Alberta justice system and human services ministry.  As a leader, Paulette mentored many staff members.  She has extensive experience in addressing workplace issues and stresses.  She has worked with diverse communities throughout Alberta.

Chantal Rose

Chantal’s greatest passion is to bring healing and foster resilience to people who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience. As a therapist with a Certified Canadian Counselor designation, Chantal has over 20 years of experience, working directly with children, adults and families from various cultures, building empathy and providing non-judgmental support to help people with addictions, depression, anxiety and grief.

Within her counselling, Chantal uses a person centered approach to help individuals to find the solutions that work for them depending on their situation. Since no single therapeutic approach is suited to everyone or ever situation, Chantal uses her training in various modalities such as EMDR, Solution Focused, Person Centered, and Mindfulness. She works collaboratively to determine the best approach that suites the person’s needs.

When not working, Chantal is engaged her the community doing volunteer work, travelling, reading, and spending time doing activities with family.

 One of Alex’s passion is working with athletes and performing artists. Her goals are to help athletes and performers increase their overall performance, transition through training periods, and help clients attain their peak performance. Alex has experience working with a variety of sport and performance related issues throughout her career.

 Alex uses a combination approach to therapy that includes Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. You can expect your sessions to be tailored to best fit your needs; which will include direction, cohesion, warmth, and strength-based practice. Alex also has experience working in other areas such as depression, disordered eating, general anxiety, adolescent issues, and various life transitions.

Chris is motivated to help people reach personal positive changes in their lives. He understands that people can often times feel stuck in their desire for something different and he is excited at the opportunity to help people free themselves from this state. Chris has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years. He has experience working with people of all age ranges and many backgrounds. Most of his experience has been working with adults overcoming mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, family violence, grief and loss, anger, coping with mental illnesses, and more.

Chris graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Counselling Psychology degree and is passionate about continually learning and developing his skills. He enjoys learning different modalities to work with, though primarily uses Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), clinical hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Whatever the mode used in session, he realizes the importance of a strong trusting relationship between himself and the client and guides change through hope, emotional validation, and conscious behavioural changes.

Denise Stacey

Denise is a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology student under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. A former teacher, she has also worked as a behavior specialist and is excited to begin this new venture in the field of counselling. Denise has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of academic and mental health settings. Her approach to therapy is one of non-judgmental and insightful collaboration. This has been developed through her work with children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with a variety of social, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, such as ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, developmental delays and/or learning disabilities. Denise works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Solution Focused Therapy Perspective. She has a particular interest in working with adoptive and foster families as well as children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with anxiety. 

Denise is open to working with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families from a variety of backgrounds.

Robyn Coon

Uzma is currently completing her internship and brings a lot of passion and care into counselling. She has a wide array of experience spanning family-centred care, well-being of parents, family members who have disabilities, and complexity. Her work is eclectic, meaning it is based on a mixture of cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, trauma-based, and strength-based therapies. Through Uzma’s work as a sessional instructor at two universities in Edmonton, she has a strong knowledge base of mental health including addictions, mood, trauma, and psychosis disorders. Uzma is kind, non-judgemental, and enjoys walking alongside with her clients in their journey. Uzma has completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences with a focus on child development from McMaster University, and a Master of Science in Family Practice and Ecology from the University of Alberta.  


Shayda Nanji

Shayda is a firm believer of human resiliency and in the immense inner strength and wisdom each individual has. She understands however, that there are times in our lives when we need a compassionate ear, and a respectful, non-judgmental environment in which to work things through.

Shayda is a dedicated and a compassionate counsellor who respects diversity and understands cultural barriers which can be roadblocks for some to seek counselling services in times of need.

As a retired Pharmacist (40 years), Shayda is uniquely placed to understand that while medications can improve and save lives, there exists a gap in addressing mental health issues. This gap is an avenue by which individuals can access counselling services where they can talk to someone in a trusting and confidential environment. It was for this reason she decided to further her education and obtained a diploma in Applied Psychology and Professional Counselling.

Shayda is very excited to be working as a mental health counsellor. She works with anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, setting boundaries, etc. She takes a very client centered and collaborative approach. She offers Solution Focused Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or energy therapy)
