Laura is a third year Masters of Counselling student at City University. She works with adults and adolescents who are living with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, chronic pain, grief, self esteem issues, and loneliness. Laura  provides a caring and non-judgemental space for her clients to explore their challenges and learn how to cope with them.

With a background in alternative therapies for groups and individuals, Laura places special importance on the mind-body connection, as well as the benefits of continuous self-development.

Laura's Approaches

Laura is trained to use a variety of modalities during her sessions including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness and meditation, narrative therapy, and solution focused therapy. She is also working on completing her EMDR training and somatic experience training.

More about Laura

Laura is a certified nature and forest therapy guide with 5 years of experience leading forest therapy walks. She has been a yoga teacher for 8 years and is certified in many styles of yoga. She loves to learn about yoga philosophy and has been part of a group studying the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali for the past 3 years. When she isn’t working, Laura enjoys spending time with her dog, Phyrne. In her free time, she has many hobbies including being in nature, reading, travelling and, of course, doing yoga.
