Kylie is a Master of Arts in Counselling student at Athabasca University. She has an integrative counselling style and strives to meet the individual needs of her clients. Kylie has over 13 years of experience, working with adults and teens in the correctional services field.

Kylie draws from a variety of approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, emotion focused therapy and more to help adults and teenagers who experience mental health concerns such depression, anxiety, stress, anger issues, and grief.

Kylie's Approaches

Kylie uses a client-centered approach paired with variety of approaches in counselling sessions with her clients. She has received training in  cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion focused therapy, attachment and commitment therapy, solution focused therapy and narrative therapy. She is also working on getting trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing.

Kylie loves to sing, spend time with her children, enjoy the outdoors, read, craft, laugh, and find humor in everyday situations. She's also a big sport fan who loves to watch hockey, football and baseball.
