Diana's Fee: $60/hour

Diana is a practicum student from Yorkville University who works with children, teenagers, adults, living with mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma. She is trained in play therapy and has extensive experience working with children in various capacities. She lived in Australia for 10 years and did a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic ChildPlay.

Who Can Diana Work With?

Diana provides a caring and non-judgemental environment for children, teenagers, adults and families to understand, process, and recover from their life challenges. Diana uses cognitive behavioural therapy and play therapy when she works with her clients, but has also been receiving training on mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy.

With a post-graduate degree in Therapeutic Child Play, Diana is especially trained to work with Children who are living with variety of issues including anxiety, trauma, or depression. She has also completed 180 hours of Play Therapy training at the Canadian Association of Play Therapy Foundation. Furthermore, Diana worked in early childhood intervention and in schools for several years for children who are on the autism spectrum or have other behavioural diagnoses.

Diana enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, George and Annie. She spends a lot of time
at the gym and enjoys going to movies and reading. She gained an interest in counselling and play therapy due to being ill as a child and undergoing treatment herself in play therapy. She enjoys learning and is often looking for more things to learn.
