Andrea's Approaches
Andrea works from a client-centered and collaborative approach in which she believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives and have skills and strengths that can be utilized and explored.
She uses counselling theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), harm reduction, trauma-informed practices, attachment theory, meditation, and mindfulness.

The therapeutic relationship develops from creating an empathetic stance in which you are respected, listened to, and supported, in order to help you achieve your goals. She truly feels that it is an honor to sit with the client as they share their life and will join in on the journey throughout the counselling process.
